Opening day of the 2025 Challenger Series kicked off Championship Tour qualification dreams at the Burton Automotive Newcastle SURFEST Presented by Bonsoy.
A toast to the CT vets of old provided big showings from Julian Wilson and Kolohe Andino alongside the likes of Josh Kerr and Peterson Crisanto. But, Alister Reginato and more showed there's plenty of worth in the emerging talents. Sol Aguirre and Noah Klapp laid down the scale for the women along with Japan's Nanaho Tsuzuki looking sharp. The qualification dreams are just getting started at Mereweather Beach with plenty of action ahead as recent CTers falling off Tour look to bounce back alongside those ready to make a claim all their own.
